Canada possesses an abundance of land, water, energy, forests, minerals, and other natural resources. These assets should be managed responsibly and used to strengthen the long-term well-being of the country.
Natural Resources for Community Building proposes that a greater share of the value created from Canadian resources be directed toward productive infrastructure, villages, housing, food systems, public assets, and community development.
By investing natural wealth back into Canadian communities, the country can build greater resilience, stability, and prosperity for present and future generations.
