Finance and economics policy addresses the conditions that allow people, families, and enterprises to become productive, independent, and prosperous.
The initiatives in this area consider both ends of a working life: the participation and knowledge of Canada's elders, and the economic freedom that makes entrepreneurship, fair participation in growth, and higher living standards possible.

Policy initiative
Canada's elders hold a lifetime of knowledge, experience, and practical wisdom. When they spend extended periods outside the country, communities lose not only their economic contribution but also valuable opportunities for mentorship and intergenerational learning.
Snowbird Tax Policy would explore incentives that encourage elders to remain in Canada and participate more fully in community life.
The objective is to retain knowledge, strengthen local economies, and create meaningful roles through which experience can be passed to future generations.

Policy initiative
A strong economy should benefit owners, managers, workers, investors, families, and communities.
The Canadian Economic Charter advances the principle that political freedom is incomplete without economic freedom. Its purpose is to strengthen the conditions that allow people and enterprises to become productive, independent, and prosperous.
By supporting entrepreneurship, fair participation in economic growth, and higher living standards, the Charter seeks to provide a stronger foundation for long-term national prosperity.
